Creating the Advanced Approval custom properties

The Advanced Approval life cycle requires numerous custom properties.

To create the Advanced Approval custom properties:

  1. Create the custom property sets and property definitions listed in the following table as described in Creating, editing, and deleting custom property sets and Creating, editing, and deleting custom property definitions.

Note    In the following table, the required property values must be set exactly as shown. Other property values are recommended. Properties not listed are optional.

Used for the automatic release of approved documents on a specific date. If the property does not exist, documents may only be released immediately.

Hidden but required for the timed transition to Released.

  1. If the custom property sets are not set as default for all documents, add the custom property sets to the document types that will use the Advanced Approval life cycle as described in Adding and removing custom document properties.
